Hi! I'm Frankinscience, an urban, 50-something, Baby-Boomer who is a country girl at heart. I live with some funky neurological issues that slow me down, but I don't let this define me, so I'm working on a journey to get back to health and a life of self-sufficiency by doing the things I love and having faith in the impossible that I can do anything in Christ.
I love the arts, music, fashion, beauty, simple elegance and luxury. I thrive on nature, creativity, and reinvention; I'm really good at sewing, cooking and making soap. I like the design and technical stuff too. My mission is taken from Proverbs 31:10, the virtuous woman.
"Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies."
My dream is to buy a house in the country to homestead. I want to grow my own food, raise some chickens, a few goats and a pet pig (of course, cats and dogs are always welcomed). I want to feed the hungry, have family gatherings, maybe get married again. Sounds like the perfect place to get rooted and for creativity to flourish. I see myself the happiest creating in the kitchen, cooking, working in my garden and studio, designing, making dolls and hats, living the good life.
This is my journey to Eden. ♥
